Our Mission

The Blackwater Memorial Alumni Association (BWMAA) was formed to recognize the private military contractors of Blackwater USA and Blackwater Worldwide who conducted paramilitary security operations in some of the world's most austere environments. The BWMAA supports Blackwater alumni, their immediate families, the families of our fallen, and other members dealing with financial hardships by helping to lift this burden so that these families can focus on healing mind, body, and spirit. We provide educational and financial assistance via scholarships, educational training, and other need based charitable assistance. Money raised by the BWMAA will also be will be used for medical bills, PTSD treatment, and other types of individual and family therapy. By easing the load on our injured members it allows them to focus on healing, not only as an individual, but also as a family unit.

The BW annual reunion offers an opportunity for past teammates, friends and family to come together for 2 days of remembrance and catching up

The BW annual reunion provides veterans the chance to reconnect with past teammates, friends and family, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared understanding.

These gatherings offer an opportunity to reminisce, share stories, and sometimes address unresolved issues from their service. Additionally, they can provide support, healing, and a sense of belonging for those who often share a unique bond from their time together.
